Recap: Stuyvesant Peglegs vs. Norman Thomas Tigers
Even though the Norman Thomas Tigers scored an imposing 57 points on Monday, the Stuyvesant Peglegs still came out on top. Stuyvesant secured a 63-57 W over Norman Thomas. The win made it back-to-back wins for Stuyvesant.
Norman Thomas' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jason Guzman, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaden Chazulle, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Stuyvesant has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Norman Thomas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
Stuyvesant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Norman Thomas also has no future games currently scheduled.
