Basketball Recap: East Stroudsburg North Takes a Loss

East Stroudsburg North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 69-47 to the Easton Area Rovers. The contest was a close 24-23 at the break, but unfortunately for the Timberwolves it sure didn't stay that way.

When it comes to explaining why East Stroudsburg North lost, don't look at Wayne King. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 12 en route to 18 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Piotr Drozd, who posted ten points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Among those leading the charge was Tyshaun Dunlap, who had 19 points. Another player making a difference was Chase Shollenberger, who scored eight points.

East Stroudsburg North's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Easton Area, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-11.

East Stroudsburg North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-51 win against Stroudsburg on the 28th. Easton Area has also already played their next matchup, a 50-33 defeat against Liberty on the 28th.
