Bayfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 24-2 to the Drummond Lumberjacks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 back in April.

Sam Adams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. KJ Andrews also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bayfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Drummond, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
