Sterlington had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Natchitoches Central Chiefs a 5-0 shutout. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by three goals or more this season.

Sterlington is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those eight contests. As for Natchitoches Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-3.
