Basketball Recap: Berry Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Berry played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 51-14 defeat at the hands of the West Charlotte Lions. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-10.

West Charlotte got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chloe Stitt out in front who posted 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenya Grier, who put up 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Berry and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for West Charlotte, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Berry will face off against Rocky River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Charlotte, they will challenge West Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
