There's no place like home for Williams, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Grand Canyon Phantoms 57-38 on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 81-44 victory back in January.

Despite the loss, Grand Canyon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tristan Lambon went 9-for-22 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mase Begay, who posted seven points along with five rebounds and four blocks.

Williams has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for Grand Canyon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-18.

Williams didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-57 defeat against Joseph City on the 7th. Grand Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
