Football Recap: Stockbridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stockbridge and Blessed Trinity squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Stockbridge had to settle for second. They and the Titans were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 28-27 defeat. It was the first time this season that the Tigers let down their fans at home.

Stockbridge's loss came despite strong showings from Gavin Kinchen and Joshua Scott. Kinchen picked up 190 receiving yards and three TDs, while Scott threw for 486 yards and four touchdowns. Another receiver making a difference was Zyon Robinson, who picked up 146 receiving yards and one score.

Blessed Trinity found their leader in sophomore MJ Craft, who rushed for 140 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries.

Stockbridge's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Blessed Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Stockbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blessed Trinity, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-10 defeat against Marist on the 21st.
