Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 57-32 to the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 481st, while the Wildcats are ranked 200th).

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Chouteau-Mazie, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will square off against Porter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Summit Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Summit Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
