Gretta Lewis put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Monday. She wasn't messing around, striking out 16 batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and nine unearned) runs off eight hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Lewis and Cottonwood will venture away from home to square off against Murray at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewis has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 9 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Spartans have only allowed 2.88 per game this season.
