Wellsboro won the last time they faced Troy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 3-1.

Wellsboro was led to victory by Taylor Main and Maddy Cruttenden. Main had 18 assists and 15 digs, while Cruttenden had 21 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Main is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jillian Mickey, who had 13 digs and four aces.

Wellsboro's record now sits at 6-2. As for Troy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-2-1.

Wellsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Hughesville on the 17th. Troy has also already played their next game (against Towanda), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
