Red Bluff never let their opponents score on Saturday. They came out on top against the Shasta Wolves by a score of 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.

Red Bluff's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Natalee Ross, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Red Bluff hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

Red Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Shasta, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Bluff will challenge Corning at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Shasta will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Las Plumas at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th.
