After losing to Rockland the last time they met, Middleborough decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sachems put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 11-1 victory on Wednesday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Sachems this season.

The win made it two in a row for Middleborough and bumps their season record up to 12-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Rockland, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Middleborough is taking a road trip to face off against Somerset Berkley Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Sachems' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Rockland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
