Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Hallsville). They walked away with  a   43-33  victory over the Eldon Mustangs  on Friday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
 Hallsville was led to victory by  Landon Cunningham and  Abraham Rhoades.  Cunningham threw for 259 yards and three  TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, while  Rhoades gained 82 total yards and two touchdowns. Rhoades really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards.
 Despite the  defeat, Eldon had strong showings from  Drew Hinds, who threw for 159 yards and four  touchdowns, and  Drayden Delong, who gained 176 total yards and two touchdowns.
Hallsville's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Eldon,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hallsville is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Osage  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Eldon will  challenge  rival Southern Boone  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
