Alleman's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Quincy Blue Devils 5-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pioneers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Sydnee Ganahl made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Ganahl was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last nine games.

In other batting news, Alysa Brinkman was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

Alleman's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Quincy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Alleman will host Sterling at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Quincy, they will head out on the road to square off against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
