After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Atlantic Coast was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the University Christian Christians by a score of 3-2. The Stingrays' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Atlantic Coast's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for University Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

Coming up, Atlantic Coast will be playing in front of their home fans against Covenant School of Jacksonville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Stingrays' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for University Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
