Volleyball Recap: Corvian Community Comes Up Short

Corvian Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Bradford Prep Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 17-25, 25-19.

When it comes to explaining why Corvian Community lost, don't look at Peyton Church. Despite the final result, she had 24 digs and two assists.

Corvian Community's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Bradford Prep, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

Corvian Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Pine Lake Prep on the 7th. As for Bradford Prep, they will take on Christ the King in a tournament on Monday.
