STORYLINES

* Under Johnson, Greensboro Day has won eight state titles and reached the final 16 times. The legendary coach is a member of the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame and has led the Bengals to 20 wins or more in each of the past 24 seasons.



* The Bengals are aiming for a return trip to Dick's Nationals after finishing their season in NYC in 2014-15. That team beat Harry Giles and Wesleyan Christian Academy in the NCISAA 3A final before meeting Ben Simmons and No. 1-ranked Montverde Academy in the opening round at Dick's.
