Baseball Game Preview: Windsor Central Black Knights vs. Spencer-Van Etten Panthers

The Windsor Central Black Knights will head out to face off against the Spencer-Van Etten Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Windsor Central is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Windsor Central proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Chenango Valley 5-4.

Meanwhile, Spencer-Van Etten entered their game against Edison on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 5-3.

Windsor Central's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Spencer-Van Etten, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
