Volleyball Recap: Harper Creek Comes Up Short

Harper Creek lost against Lakeview on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Beavers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans.

While Harper Creek ultimately came up short, they really made Lakeview work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 27-25.

Camille Robinson paced Harper Creek's offense, picking up 13 kills. Robinson got some help from Andersyn King and her 19 assists.

Harper Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 24-16. As for Lakeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7-5 record this season.

Harper Creek will square off against Western at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lakeview has already played their next matchup (against Pennfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
