Baseball Recap: Wheatmore Comes Up Short

Wheatmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Davidson Dragons. Even if the Warriors couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Wheatmore's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for West Davidson, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Wheatmore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Davidson, they will take on Providence Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
