It was a good run, but Porter-Gaud unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop England Battling Bishops. Porter-Gaud were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the nine games prior), but Bishop England's defense proved too tough.

Porter-Gaud's goal came courtesy of Zoe Molten, who's now up to 32 this season.

Porter-Gaud's loss dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Bishop England, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Porter-Gaud has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Ashley Hall on the 17th. As for Bishop England, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Colleton County at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.
