            Baseball Recap: North Stars vs. South Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            North and South faced off in a cross-town battle  on Tuesday. The Stars came up short against  the Spartans, falling  7-1. Having soared to a lofty 22  runs in the game before, the Stars couldn't push the score so high this time.
North got a good showing from  LLOYD REED, who   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate, North saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  JOHNNY PARKER, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
North has also been struggling recently as they've  lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record  this season. As for South, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record  this season.
While North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
