North Medford is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting South Salem an easy 87-61 victory. The Black Tornado were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-28.

Despite the loss, North Medford had strong showings from Bryan Nunez, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 19 points and four steals, and Liam Rea, who shot 56% from the field en route to 23 points. Jaxon Zimmer also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Meanwhile, Mountainside was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 63-57 to West Linn. The Mavericks have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
