Basketball Recap: Genesee Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Julius Serna and Ayden Yeomen

Genesee lost against Morrice two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Genesee Wolves fell 37-29 to the Morrice Orioles. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Genesee's loss came despite strong showings from Ayden Yeomen and Julius Serna. Yeomen went 5-for-10 on his way to 16 points, while Serna posted nine points. The dominant performance gave Yeomen a new career-high in points.

Genesee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Morrice, their win bumped their record up to 3-13.

Genesee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 47-29 victory against Farwell on the 10th. As for Morrice, they have also already played their next game, a 76-59 loss against Livingston Christian on the 11th.
