Softball Recap: Clinton County Takes a Loss

Clinton County lost to Cumberland County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Panthers, falling 14-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton County's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Cumberland County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Clinton County will challenge Monroe County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cumberland County, they will face off against Russell County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lakers have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
