Basketball Game Preview: Surry County Cougars vs. Franklin Broncos

Surry County hasn't had much luck against Franklin recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Surry County Cougars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Franklin Broncos at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Surry County lost to Brunswick at home by a 67-50 margin.

Meanwhile, Franklin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Dukes, posting a 62-35 victory.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Surry County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Surry County was dealt a bruising 55-23 loss at the hands of Franklin when the teams last played back in January. Can Surry County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
