Volleyball Recap: Garfield-Palouse Finds Playoff Glory Versus Taholah

Garfield-Palouse had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Taholah Chitwhins on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

One reason for the win was Garfield-Palouse's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-19.

Morgan Lentz was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 31 assists and ten digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Garfield-Palouse's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Taholah, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.

Garfield-Palouse has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Providence Classical Christian on the 12th. Taholah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
