Basketball Recap: Clark Fork Takes a Loss

Clark Fork came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Lakeside Knights and fell 72-27. The Wampus Cats have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Kyleigh Wolfe was her usual excellent self, going 13-for-22 to rack up 29 points for Lakeside. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Charlie, who went 8-for-12 en route to 19 points.

Clark Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Lakeside, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lakeside beat Clark Fork by a score of 72-23 on Tuesday.
