Skowhegan is 8-2 against Nokomis since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Skowhegan River Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the Nokomis Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Skowhegan will be strutting in after a win while Nokomis will be coming in after a loss.

Skowhegan took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Messalonskee as Skowhegan made off with a 52-27 victory.

Meanwhile, Nokomis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-46 heartbreaker at the hands of Brewer.

Nokomis' loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Skowhegan, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

Skowhegan beat Nokomis 45-37 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Skowhegan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
