Basketball Recap: Nottoway Takes a Loss

Nottoway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. The game between them and the Amelia County Raiders didn't end well, with the Nottoway Cougars falling 43-25. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-30 back in January.

Nottoway's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Amelia County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Nottoway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Amelia County, they will square off against Buckingham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
