Recap: Central Cobras vs. Treasure Coast Titans
Even though the Central Cobras have not done well against the Treasure Coast Titans recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Central took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 57-17 victory over Treasure Coast. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Central also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was LOVELY GABRIEL out in front who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. HARMON RANDOLPH was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 3 steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Treasure Coast struggled to work together and finished the game with only a assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Central racked up eight.
Central's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Treasure Coast, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Central will head out on the road to face off against Okeechobee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Treasure Coast won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jensen Beach at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. Hopefully Jensen Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Monday.
