Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montini Catholic). Their defense stepped up to hand the Islamic Foundation Chargers a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for Montini Catholic as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Their offense was hitting Islamic Foundation from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Liliana Cruz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Montini Catholic's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Islamic Foundation, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Montini Catholic will square off against Willowbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
