Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Pleasant gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Buckeye Central Bucks by a score of 3-1.

Pleasant had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-13, 25-10.

Kamryn Cocherl paced Pleasant's offense, picking up 28 kills. Cocherl got some help from Macy Hamper and her 22 assists. Cocherl was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Despite the loss, Buckeye Central still got an impressive performance from Mayzie Hanlon, who had 20 digs and two assists.

Buckeye Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pleasant will square off against Clear Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buckeye Central, they will face off against Delaware Christian at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
