Daijaah Jones made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.7 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Katherine Mercado, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with five stolen bases and one RBI.

Overfelt's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for James Lick, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

James Lick came out on top in a nail-biter against Overfelt when the teams last played back in May of 2025, sneaking past 21-20. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Overfelt Royals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
