Volleyball Game Preview: Olympia Titans vs. Oak Ridge Pioneers

The Olympia Titans will square off against the Oak Ridge Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Olympia came up short against West Orange on Monday, falling 3-0. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Olympia was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge entered their tilt with Cornerstone Charter Academy on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Ducks.

Oak Ridge's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Olympia, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.

Olympia took their victory against Oak Ridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
