Baseball Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short

Enterprise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Chico Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-1 defeat last Tuesday.

Enterprise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jared McDonald, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Chico, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Enterprise has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Shasta on the 1st. As for Chico, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-3 win against Las Plumas on the 29th.
