Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Warren County). They breezed past the Greene County Tigers to the tune of 48-7 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for Warren County, bringing their record up to 3-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for Greene County, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Warren County will face off against Lake Oconee Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greene County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Washington-Wilkes at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
