Basketball Game Preview: Swanton Bulldogs vs. Wauseon Indians

The Swanton Bulldogs will take on the Wauseon Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Swanton is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Swanton came up short against Genoa Area and fell 53-45.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Wauseon, as they earned their first road win of the season. They escaped with a win on Saturday against Paulding by the margin of a single free throw, 65-64.

Swanton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Wauseon, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Swanton came up short against Wauseon when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 47-35. Can Swanton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
