Basketball Game Preview: Yuma Outlaws vs. Cedaredge Bruins

The Yuma Outlaws and the Cedaredge Bruins will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Yuma is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They managed a 37-32 victory over Monte Vista.

Meanwhile, Cedaredge put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 55-32 margin over Ignacio. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Bobcats are ranked 186th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Yuma back to even at 12-12. As for Cedaredge, their victory bumped their record up to 24-0.

Yuma didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Cedaredge in their previous matchup back in March of 2016, but they still walked away with a 55-50 win. Will Yuma repeat their success, or does Cedaredge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
