Basketball Recap: Mound-Westonka Takes a Loss

Mound-Westonka was the 57-44 winner over Hutchinson when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Mound-Westonka White Hawks fell just short of the Hutchinson Tigers by a score of 65-63 on Friday.

Mound-Westonka now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Hutchinson, their win bumped their record up to 5-20.

Looking ahead, Mound-Westonka is taking a road trip to face off against Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Jordan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 matches -- so hopefully Mound-Westonka likes a good challenge. As for Hutchinson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-26 defeat against Delano on the 18th.
