Softball Recap: Enterprise Wins Going Away Against Noxapater

Enterprise came out on top against Noxapater on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 12 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Miranda Anderson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rainee Falvey, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Terra Vining, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Enterprise and bumps their season record up to 13-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Noxapater, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Enterprise nor Noxapater have any future games scheduled.
