Softball Recap: St. John's Takes a Loss

St. John and Johnsonville squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but St. John's had to settle for second. They lost 15-0 to the Flashes. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Islanders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Johnsonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

St. John's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Johnsonville, they will head out on the road to challenge Hannah-Pamplico at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Flashes surely won't give up without a fight.
