Softball Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor lost to Delphi Community back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Titans lost 15-1 to the Oracles.

Taylor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryleigh Pennington, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Savanna Mike also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Delphi Community, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Coming up, Taylor will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Rossville at 5:30 p.m. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Delphi Community, they will take on Lewis Cass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Oracles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Kings have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
