Basketball Recap: Idaho City Takes a Loss

Idaho City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 54-39 to the Victory Charter Vipers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vipers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Victory Charter's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cody Luce, who posted 18 points and five rebounds. The game was Luce's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mark Beliy, who had nine points and five boards.

Idaho City's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Victory Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Idaho City has already played their next contest, a 77-31 defeat against Compass Charter on the 24th. Victory Charter has also already played their next matchup (against Gem State Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
