Volleyball Recap: Calexico Mission Comes Up Short

Calexico Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Julian Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-5, 25-12.

Calexico Mission's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Julian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Calexico Mission will venture away from home to face off against West Shores at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Julian, they will head out to square off against Mountain Empire at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
