Basketball Recap: St. Clairsville Comes Up Short

St. Clairsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 71-53 fall against the Indian Valley Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 66-59 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

St. Clairsville's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Indian Valley, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

St. Clairsville and Indian Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. St. Clairsville will challenge Beaver Local at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 162 places (127 vs. 289). Meanwhile, Indian Valley (ranked 120th) will meet Buckeye Trail (ranked 335th) at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
