Soccer Game Preview: Patterson Institute vs. Clint

Patterson Institute will head out on the road to challenge Clint at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Patterson Institute proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Pecos get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, Clint took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They beat Pecos by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Clint were the better team in the second half.

Patterson Institute's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Clint, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Patterson Institute suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Clint in their previous matchup back in January of 2022. Can Patterson Institute avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
