Football Recap: Roseburg Takes a Loss

If Roseburg was riding high fresh off their 35-7 takedown of Barlow last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of the Summit Storm on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Storm are ranked 11th).

Roseburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Summit, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roseburg will head out to square off against Churchill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Indians their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Summit, they will take on Wilsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
