St. Petersburg won the last time they faced Lakewood, and Ellie Swain did her part to make sure it happened again. The Green Devils took down the Spartans 19-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Swain, who picked up 48 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 56 yards on only six carries. She didn't just play on offense: she also picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles.

The win made it two in a row for St. Petersburg and bumps their season record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Lakewood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
