Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 53-41 to the McMinn County Cherokees. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cherokees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-61 back in January.

Several Blue Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Antonio Westfield, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 16 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Tim Matthews, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for McMinn County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-10.
